What is a Soul Virtue?

On SoulVirtues.com, a Soul Virtue is a named cluster of answer patterns. Each cluster asks a different question: Do you choose direction, act through fear, apply fairness, turn care into action, regulate frustration, align conduct with principles, or sustain effort over time?

All seven receive separate scores. A high score in one does not mathematically force another score down, so combinations are often more useful than a single label.

Six color-and-trait associations come from Undertale's Ball Game. Red as Determination is this site's fan-inspired choice, not an explicitly named seventh game trait. For a quick game reference, see the seven SOUL colors and heart meanings.

Red / Determination: the course setter

Determination turns preference into direction. It appears when you choose what matters, accept the cost of that choice, and return to it after circumstances interrupt you.

Orange / Bravery: the first mover

Bravery is action with fear still present. It does not require comfort or certainty; it becomes visible when something meaningful is worth the exposure, awkwardness, or risk.

Yellow / Justice: the fair measure

Justice notices unequal treatment and asks for a standard that can survive personal preference. It is less about winning an argument than making accountability apply consistently.

Green / Kindness: the human shelter

Kindness converts concern into behavior. It notices another person's strain and makes a practical adjustment—time, attention, patience, protection, or help.

Cyan / Light Blue / Patience: the steady field

Patience preserves choice under delay, irritation, and uncertainty. It creates a gap between stimulus and reaction, giving better timing a chance to appear.

Blue / Integrity: the inner alignment

Integrity keeps stated values, private choices, and public behavior in the same system. It becomes clearest when consistency carries a real cost.

Purple / Perseverance: the long carrier

Perseverance is effort after novelty has left. It holds attention through repetition, setbacks, and the long middle where progress is real but rarely dramatic.
