BLUE / INT / SOUL GUIDE
Blue Undertale SOUL & Integrity
The blue Undertale SOUL is associated with Integrity, while light blue or cyan corresponds to Patience. Blue mode changes how the player moves. Our Integrity reading separately explores the link between words, values, and actions.

The darker blue corresponds to Integrity in the Ball Game's six named qualities. It should not be merged with the light-blue Patience entry.
How this color works in battle
Blue mode adds gravity and jumping. Papyrus and Sans use this change to the player's SOUL in their encounters.
Does Sans have a blue human SOUL?
Changing the player's heart to blue is a battle mechanic, not a statement that Sans owns the blue human SOUL. His role in the story and a reader's Integrity test score are separate subjects.

What does Integrity mean in our Soul Virtues test?
The game supplies a color reference. The strengths, blind spots, and combinations below are SoulVirtues.com's own behavioral interpretation, not official Undertale character traits.
Integrity is scored as alignment among promises, stated values, private choices, and public behavior—especially when consistency is inconvenient. It includes honest correction; never changing your mind is not the same as integrity.
Core personality patterns in this framework
- Consistency between words and conduct
- Reliability with promises and private information
- Authenticity when approval or concealment is tempting
This is an interpretation of one test scale, not a claim that everyone with this result shares one personality or destiny.
Integrity strengths and blind spots
Potential strengths
- Makes trust less dependent on supervision
- Creates a stable basis for promises and boundaries
- Supports difficult honesty when an easier story is available
When the signal becomes overextended
- Consistency can harden into identity-based rigidity
- Blunt disclosure can be mistaken for honesty without responsibility
- A promise can be defended after it has become harmful or impossible
Consistency can become rigidity when changing your mind is mistaken for betraying yourself.
Integrity includes correcting a principle that no longer produces the honesty or responsibility it was meant to protect.
Integrity vs. Justice: how are they different?
Integrity asks whether you live by your own declared code. Justice asks whether the code distributes rights and consequences fairly.
Compare what motivates a choice, rather than judging only the action you can see. The same response can express more than one signal, so this test scores them separately.

How Integrity can appear around other people
With friends
Integrity may appear as keeping confidences, doing what you said, and giving an honest answer without creating unnecessary spectacle. Repair includes admitting when you cannot keep a commitment.
In close or romantic relationships
In close relationships, it supports trust through congruence between private behavior and declared values. Tact and timing still matter.
In teams and group work
On teams, Integrity looks like accurate reporting, consistent standards, and owning errors before they are discovered. It also permits changing a position when the evidence changes.
Integrity combined with other Soul Virtues
A second score does not replace the first. It changes how the leading pattern may reach decisions, relationships, or work.
These combinations describe two signals within a person's result. They do not rank romantic matches or identify an ideal partner by SOUL color.
Integrity + Justice
Personal consistency is tested against standards that also protect the rights and voice of others.
Integrity + Bravery
Honesty and principle are more likely to remain visible when criticism or conflict is possible.
Integrity + Kindness
Truth is delivered with attention to impact, while care remains bounded by promises that can be kept.
How to cultivate Integrity
These are reflection practices, not treatment advice and not a guaranteed way to manufacture a test label.
- Make fewer promises, then track the promises you do make.
- When words and behavior diverge, name the mismatch before defending your identity.
- Practice changing your mind out loud: state what changed and which deeper value the correction serves.
Why did the test give me Integrity?
Your Integrity percentage is calculated from 9 prompts assigned to this signal. Direct responses keep their 1–5 value; reverse-keyed responses are inverted. The keyed values are averaged and mapped to a 0–100 alignment range. These prompts are scenario-based adaptations of public-domain IPIP items while preserving their direct or reverse scoring direction.
A higher result generally means:
- You tended to protect confidences and treat promises as continuing obligations.
- You described choosing honesty even when a lie or performance could be easier.
- You were more likely to see your private and public standards as part of the same system.
The site does not publish an answer key because the useful response is the honest one. Trying to select a desired color changes the answer pattern; it does not reveal a hidden “correct” personality.
