UNDERTALE GUIDE LIBRARY
Read the SOUL lore without mixing canon and fan interpretation.
Start with the seven colors, then follow the battle mechanics, route structure, or selected fan works. Every guide labels what Undertale states, what community references organize, and what SoulVirtues.com adds as an independent fan framework.

Seven colors, three different questions
One color can have a named quality in the Ball Game, a separate battle rule, and a different use in this site's reflection test. The table keeps those layers visible. Its last column is an original prompt to consider, not dialogue or a personality assignment from Undertale.
| Color | Game evidence | Question to reflect on |
|---|---|---|
| Red | The familiar seven-color set includes red, but the six named Ball Game qualities do not give it a matching label. | How do you choose a direction when no path is guaranteed? Read the red SOUL distinction. |
| Orange / Bravery | The quality is named; orange attacks reward movement rather than a full orange player SOUL mode here. | When is acting with uncertainty worth the cost? |
| Yellow / Justice | The quality is named; yellow also changes the player's battle actions to shooting in certain encounters. | What would a fair standard require if it cost you an advantage? |
| Green / Kindness | The quality is named; the green battle mode uses a shield. | What kind of help would this person actually find useful? |
| Light blue / Patience | The quality is named; light-blue attacks reward staying still. | When does waiting create a better choice, and when does it postpone one? |
| Blue / Integrity | The quality is named; the blue battle mode changes movement through gravity. | Do your actions match the principles you say matter? |
| Purple / Perseverance | The quality is named; purple battle movement can be constrained to lines. | Which worthwhile goal still deserves effort after the exciting part ends? |
These prompts are this site's interpretation. For the game's actual movement rules, see SOUL modes; for the seven independent behavioral definitions, use the virtue guides.

What to play after Undertale
Similarity can mean very different things: bullet-dodging combat, choices that leave consequences, a meta relationship with the player, or an emotional pixel-RPG story. The games like Undertale guide sorts recommendations by those qualities instead of presenting one generic ranked list.
Start with the Undertale and Deltarune comparison, continue into the current Deltarune guide library, or read the Undertale Yellow guide for a clearly labeled fan-made prequel.
Three layers, kept visibly separate
Game text and mechanics cover what appears in Undertale itself. Community reference organizes scenes, items, colors, and encounters so they are easier to compare. Soul Virtues interpretation is this site's independent reflection framework; it is not a missing piece of game canon.
That separation matters most for the red SOUL. Undertale explicitly names six qualities together, while the familiar red-equals-Determination statement remains an interpretation rather than a named seventh trait.
Choose your spoiler level
Start with the seven SOUL colors for the lightest overview. The battle-mode guide names boss mechanics. The red SOUL, SAVE and RESET, and human-versus-monster guides discuss later story rules and are labeled accordingly.
