Answer each statement as you usually are now—not as the most admirable answer sounds. The test uses a five-point response scale, randomizes the 66 prompts, and reveals your leading Soul when you finish. From the result page, you can choose how deeply to explore the full seven-signal profile.

Soul Virtues quiz vs. Soul Virtues test

On this site, “quiz” and “test” both refer to the same 66-question self-report experience. We use “test” descriptively, not to imply a proctored exam, clinical instrument, or scientifically validated type system. There are no correct moral answers.

What is a soul trait extractor?

A soul trait extractor is an informal fan-community label for an interactive tool that maps answers to a color, virtue, or ranked profile. It does not literally extract an objective soul, destiny, or clinical personality trait.

Some extractors return one label; others show a spread. “Trait” can mean a pattern on a continuum, while “type” usually means membership in a category. SoulVirtues.com returns seven continuous scores and then uses the highest score as a reading entry point.

What the seven Soul Trait Extractor scores represent

SignalBehavioral focus in this quizWhat it does not measure
DeterminationChoosing a direction, renewing commitment, and restoring movement after doubt.Guaranteed success or refusal to reconsider.
BraveryActing while meaningful fear, exposure, or uncertainty remains present.Absence of fear or preference for danger.
JusticeApplying fairness, accountability, and consequence beyond personal preference.Legal expertise or proof of moral superiority.
KindnessNoticing another person's need and converting concern into considerate action.Agreeableness in every situation or self-erasure.
PatienceRegulating reaction through delay, timing, and tolerance of incomplete progress.Passivity or unlimited willingness to wait.
IntegrityKeeping words, actions, principles, and acknowledged limits aligned.Inflexibility or universal certainty about the right rule.
PerseveranceSustaining effort through repetition, setbacks, and long unglamorous stretches.Never stopping or ignoring changing evidence.

How the 66 questions are built

Fifty-six statements are scenario-based adaptations informed by public-domain IPIP personality-item language. Ten original statements cover Determination because the selected source scales did not provide an equivalent seventh group for this framework.

Each item belongs to one virtue. Some statements are direct-keyed and others are reverse-keyed. The assessment randomizes the presentation order so one virtue is not shown as a visible block. The method does not copy Undertale dialogue, battles, character decisions, or another Soul Extractor's private answer weights.

The five-point response scale asks for degree of agreement. Answering from repeated current behavior is more useful than selecting whichever response sounds most admirable.

How percentages and rankings are calculated

Responses assigned to each virtue are converted to the same bounded alignment range, accounting for reverse-keyed wording. The displayed percentage indicates how strongly the selected responses aligned with that scale's available scoring range.

A 78% result does not mean the person ranks above 78% of users. The quiz has no representative norm sample and does not publish population percentiles. The highest score becomes the primary reading, the second score becomes a secondary influence, and the full seven-score order remains visible.

Close scores are labeled as close signals rather than treated as meaningfully different because of a tiny gap. If the complete spectrum is nearly level, the result can remain unresolved instead of forcing one type.

Is this an official UNDERTALE soul trait test?

No. SoulVirtues.com is an independent, fan-inspired project and is not affiliated with Toby Fox, UNDERTALE, or DELTARUNE. The site uses fan-cultural language as a creative framework; it should not be treated as a canon database or official personality system.

Privacy and result sharing

The active answer set is processed and stored in the browser while the assessment is being completed. General analytics can record starts, progress milestones, completion, and result viewing, but does not receive question text, selected answers, or the seven scores.

Result sharing is voluntary. Share text can include the result name and scores when access permits, while generated images use the matching homepage URL. A shared image does not contain the original answer sequence.

What this Soul Trait Extractor cannot establish

The quiz is not a clinical instrument, diagnostic assessment, destiny reading, moral ranking, or scientifically validated Undertale personality system. No result proves that someone literally possesses a colored SOUL or will act the same way in every context.

Transparent scoring means the site explains how its own result is produced. It does not mean the seven scales have established test–retest reliability, construct validity, or population norms. Read the official-status and accuracy guide for those distinctions.

Soul Trait Extractor questions

Is Soul Trait Extractor the same as Soul Virtues Extractor?

They are overlapping search labels. “Trait” emphasizes the seven measured patterns; “Virtues” is the naming framework used by this site. Both lead to the same 66-question assessment here.

Will I receive only one color?

No. The leading result provides an entry point, but the output retains all seven scores and identifies close or unresolved profiles.

Can I force a preferred result?

Any transparent quiz can be manipulated by choosing obvious answers. That tests recognition of the labels rather than normal behavior.

Should I retake the quiz?

Retake when the scale was misunderstood, the first attempt was interrupted, or answers reflected an unusual situation. Repeating until a desired label appears reduces the result's descriptive value.

Does a low score mean a bad trait?

No. It means that pattern received less support from this response set. Context, priorities, and neighboring signals affect how every score is interpreted.

Can friends compare results?

Yes. Party Match and Soul Match use final signal summaries to create original roles or comparisons without uploading the 66 individual answers.

Choose the soul trait result you want to read

If you want a fast color reveal, a short quiz may be enough. If you want to compare Determination with Perseverance, Kindness with Patience, or Integrity with Justice, a seven-score profile preserves those distinctions.
